Due to continued growth, which has been driven by a strong sales pipeline aligned with identifying expanding markets and pursuing successful opportunities, we are pleased to be able to recruit for BMS Engineer on a permanent basis.
We are looking to speak with applicants who can demonstrate high technical ability, project management and client facing skills whilst working in true partnership with clients. Existing clients include blue chip companies and global players.
Main requirements for the successful BMS Engineer:
- Strong experience in one or all of the following systems: Modbus, BacNet, Open System Solutions, Trend, Tridium & Schneider
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the energy industry
- Conducting site surveys before installation of BMS takes place, or after a system has been installed to check its function
- Conduction of site surveys to assess existing site operations and calculations of energy saving from installation or improvements of BMS systems
- Project management, which involves the development of a building management system
- Using software to design digital versions of building management systems based on project documentation
- Producing documentation to instruct installation engineers on how to fit and install the proposed systems
- Producing documentation to instruct other engineers or users on how to interact with the BMS
- Assisting with the graphic design of BMS software front end interfaces
- Maintaining existing building management systems by fixing errors, running tests and updating software
- Repairing a range of equipment and machinery involved in BMS
- Maintaining a great relation with clients and subcontractors
- Based around London, Birmingham or Leeds due to work nature

- Excellent interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication
- Excellent planning and organisation skills with good attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures and work to tight deadlines
- Have a can-do attitude and work well under pressure
- Excellent computer skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Word and PowerPoint
- Technical proficiency on control systems including familiarity with control panels, networking, panel/field wiring and PLC control systems

- Salary £35000-£40000 per annum subject to experience and qualifications
